When youโre out on a nice day enjoying the park, you donโt really want bat guano discharge and the associated health risks to come into the picture. Fruit Bats like to hang from trees in the parks and flap their wings to cool themselves off.
Since 1950, BETE has put over 1,000,000 nozzles into deep sea, deep space, and everywhere in between.
An Australian environmental agency was in charge of bat deterring and reducing associated health risks for the local council. They were looking for something environmentally friendly & sustainable, our on-site Engineering Team was able to test and come up with to assist in their ethical deterrent plans. You see, the key to deterring the bats away is noise, particularly whistling. So 1/2โ TF Nozzles seemed to make the most sense due in part to its large orifice diameter, and unique design allowing for the 'whistling' / 'gurgling'. Noise that although not harmful in any way, produced the right natural effect that bats prefer not to gather around.

So they install the BETE TF Nozzles up on the trees where the Fruit Bats gather while sputtering the nozzle run intermittently producing the pressure back and forth to create the noise. While this might create the occasional sound for the public, it's a small price to pay for a picnic with no surprises from above. The nozzles did the trick to keep the parks free of flying foxes. ๐ฆ
